The ↓ CHIRP CSV exports your channels for use with CHIRP. Because CHIRP does not list the AR-5RM under its own name, a two-step workaround is required: read the radio in CHIRP using model UV-17Pro, import this CSV via File → Import, then write back selecting model 5RM. The ↓ Backup (.json) saves a complete snapshot of your channels, settings, and full radio image — keep one before any major programming change. ↑ Import backup fully restores from any saved .json file, including one shared by another family member.

The ↓ Backup (.json) saves a complete snapshot of your channels, settings, and full radio image — the safest way to preserve your config before any significant change. ↑ Import backup fully restores from any saved .json file, including one shared by another family member.

📥 Export for UVMOD / UVTools

The ↓ CHIRP CSV exports your channels in a format readable by UVMOD and UVTools FRL — both run in Chrome. Note: CHIRP does not officially support the UV-K5(8). For the simplest workflow, use the ↑ Read and ↓ Write buttons above to program the radio directly without any third-party tool. The ↓ Backup (.json) saves a complete snapshot of your channels, settings, and full radio image (firmware GMRS+ 0.22.4) — keep one before flashing new firmware or making major changes. ↑ Import backup fully restores from any saved .json file.

The All tab of the Master List contains every channel and its full programming details. Since some radios have fewer memory slots available, users may only need a subset of channels for their specific radio. The filter tabs — Simplex, Repeater, Interstitial, Family, Police & Fire, HAM Radio, NOAA, and Air — organize channels by communication type. Each channel belongs to exactly one filter, so no channel is duplicated across tabs. Any channel added under any filter tab automatically appears in the All tab.
